My Process of Creating Amazing Websites
From initial consultation to final delivery, I work closely with you to understand your vision and create a website that showcases your brand and captivates your audience.
After the intake call, we start the design and development phase, crafting a layout that matches the project goals. Regular feedback and adjustments from you ensure the project stays aligned with your expectations.
Once the design and development are finalized and approved, prepare for launch! I will also train you on how to update your website and offer 30-day post-launch support.
Generally, the process takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the scope of the project. I will close my calendar for your project to ensure 100% focus and dedicated attention. This ensures that we deliver a top-quality website, right on schedule.
A 50% deposit of the project price is paid before we start. This initial payment not only kicks off the project but also guarantees your dedicated time slot in my schedule.
The remaining 50% is due upon project handoff, ensuring you are fully satisfied with the final result before completing the payment.
It all starts in the contact form! Get in touch and let's dive into your business and needs. It helps me a lot if you share some information about the current situation of your business.
To ensure a successful and seamless web design process, we'll need you to provide some key materials upfront before we kick off the project:
- Website Content: This includes all the text and copy you want on your new website. Having this ready to go allows us to hit the ground running.
- Visual Assets: Provide any images, graphics, or other visual elements you want incorporated into the design. This helps us bring your vision to life.
- Feedback & Approvals: Once we present the initial website designs, your timely feedback and approvals are crucial to keeping the project on track.
Think of these upfront materials as your "homepage homework" - they lay the foundation for us to build a website that truly reflects your brand. We're here to guide you through the process, but your involvement in supplying these key inputs is what allows us to create a website you'll be proud of.
We will have a designated week for revisions and changes! During this week the amount of revisions is unlimited. Don't worry though, we do our groundwork so well, that usually only a couple of revisions are needed.
For design I use Figma which allows me to make quick changes in the design during our revisions week.
For development and as a website platform I use Webflow. Webflow offers limitless possibilities on customisation. Webflow is a powerful platform that allows you to edit text and photos easily, in addition to a great CMS (Content Management System) for blogs and other solutions.
